Our learn to sew kits are a
well-planned educational program.
They are appealing to children and make learning to sew, quilt,
fashion design, & craft fun and easy. We designed our children's
sewing kits from our own patterns with easy to follow color photograph
directions. Our goal in making these educational kits is to share the
art of sewing, crafting, quilting, and fashion design with children and
adults so that other people can also enjoy this wonderful hobby.
We have the desire to help people of all ages learn to sew,
quilt, fashion design, craft, and preserve a skill that is slowly
disappearing from our culture.
About Our Sewing Kits
|

| Early cloth doll
bodies were homemade with scraps of fabric. Nothing was thrown out
or wasted back then. Most were constructed with a front and a back
including legs. The arms were attached separately. One piece body dolls
were produced commercially in the early 1800's in many European countries.
By 1840 muslin bodies were being made that could sit. Click here for more
history of the muslin doll. |
