NO-SEW Yarn Crafts

Jack-O-Lantern Windsock

Easy to make no-sew Jack-O-Lantern made from yarn.

This easy to make, no-sew Halloween yarn craft is fun and quick to make.  You will need orange yarn, black felt, glue, a 6" or 8" styro foam ball, needle, and scissors. This is a great Halloween easy to make no-sew craft to make for Brownie Troupes.

 

Use orange yarn, or a dark orange yarn for a primitive Jack-o-lantern windsock.

Cut 32 strains of yarn 42". Fold the yarn in half and place over the styro foam ball so that the half way point is on the top of the ball.

Easy to make no-sew yarn craft.

Move the yarn evenly around the ball. Cut an 8" strand of yarn and tie at the bottom of the ball.  Tie a knot nice and tight as shown in the photo.

Be creative in making your Jack-o-lantern's face!

Cut out eyes, nose, and mouth out of black felt for your Jack-o-lantern.  Hot glue or fabric glue in place.

No sew Halloween yarn craft idea for Brownie troups.

For the handle put a 12" piece of yarn through the eye of a needle and place it through the top of the ball through some layers of yarn.  Tie a knot at the end.

Your yarn Jack-o-lantern is done!  Hang it up and watch the wind blow it.
